Located on the waterfront with an unrestricted view of the offshore islands and Atlantic Ocean, the landscaped grounds invite you to take a quiet stroll, or to just enjoy "sea-gazing". Relax on our sun deck next to the Lodge and experience the pleasures of a Marquis oceanfront getaway or vacation. Canoeing, bicycling, fishing, hiking and boating are all part of a Marquis of Dufferin seacoast experience.
 

Discover accommodation designed with comfort in mind and dining to tantalize your taste buds. Two buildings, both with parking at the door offer a variety of CAA/AAA approved accommodations. A perfect spot for enjoying the often spectacular sunsets and the peaceful atmosphere. All units have private balconies and the same superb view of the bay and the fishing village. They are naturally "air conditioned" by the prevailing ocean breezes.

The historic Lodge situated close to the shore was built in 1859 by Henry Balcom, a sea captain, distinguished Nova Scotian merchant and politician. The house is now listed as a heritage property. Extensively restored and renovated, the Lodge houses our charming licensed dining room, offering relaxed dining at reasonable prices. Our kitchen uses the best Nova Scotia ingredients to prepare your meal from scratch.

• Two nights in guestroom with 4 piece baths, satellite TV, VCR, and radio.
• Dinner on arrival
• Breakfast both mornings
• Salt Water Fishing- mackerel, pollock and sea trout are caught from the wharf in front of the property.
• Three hour canoe rental
• Boating - Island tours can be arranged. Ramp and wharf on site, available for use.
• Package rates are quoted per person, based on double occupancy.
